<p>Every year, volunteers gather at the Todmorden Mills Wildflower Preserve to clear away garbage that has blown in during the winter. And to witness the gorgeous wildflowers that are blooming!</p>
<p>If you’d like to join in and learn more about the stewardship team’s efforts, come by on Saturday morning. Tools and snacks will be provided! RSVP with Paula at 416-423-1504.</p>

In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that hit Japan in March 2011, this group of artists created this exhibit to explore the theme of regeneration and examine the possibility for rebirth and growth.</p>

Come out and join the <a href="http://www.srchc.ca/" title="The South Riverdale Community Health Centre (SRCHC) is a community-based organization that offers primary health care services and health promotion programs to a diverse community." target="_blank">South Riverdale Community Health Centre</a> to help plant about 60 Serviceberry, Elderberry, and Hazelnut trees in various assisted living and lower income housing locations around the Health Centre.</p>

<p>It’s time to clean out your shelves for the annual Community Environment Day in Toronto/Danforth!</p>
<p>Drop off your used household items so they can be reused by local schools and other people who want and need them. The City will take them and make sure they’re given a new life. You can also drop off items for proper disposal such as computer and audio equipment, and household hazerdous waste.</p>

<p><a href="http://projectneutral.org" title="Project Neutral website">Project Neutral</a> is a competition between two Toronto neighborhoods, Riverdale and the Junction, to transition to carbon neutrality.</p>
<p>They are hosting an event in Withrow Park this Sunday.&nbsp; Adriana Mugnatto-Hamu and Tim Whalley will both attend.</p>
