<p><a href="http://danforthgreens.ca/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/TorontoArtFestival.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-8453" title="Toronto Art Festival: Regenerate" src="http://danforthgreens.ca/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/TorontoArtFestival-150x212.jpg" alt="Toronto Art Festival: Regenerate" width="150" height="212" /></a>Come experience a Japanese art exhibition this weekend, featuring over 90 artists from Japan and Toronto, such as internationally celebrated artist Warabé Aska. In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that hit Japan in March 2011, this group of artists created this exhibit to explore the theme of regeneration and examine the possibility for rebirth and growth.</p>
<p>The exhibit runs from November 5 to 15 and Saturday’s opening party is free and open to everyone. For more information, visit <a href="http://lucsculpture.com/toronto-art-fes-regenerate/" target="_blank">Lucsculpture</a>.</p>

<p>Make a growing difference in our community! Come out and join the <a href="http://www.srchc.ca/" title="The South Riverdale Community Health Centre (SRCHC) is a community-based organization that offers primary health care services and health promotion programs to a diverse community." target="_blank">South Riverdale Community Health Centre</a> to help plant about 60 Serviceberry, Elderberry, and Hazelnut trees in various assisted living and lower income housing locations around the Health Centre.</p>

<p>Drop off your used household items so they can be reused by local schools and other people who want and need them. The City will take them and make sure they’re given a new life. You can also drop off items for proper disposal such as computer and audio equipment, and household hazerdous waste.</p>
