Green paperclip
Charlie has just very cleverly added the green paperclip symbol into the editing options on this site. From now on, if you see this symbol next to an event or action, it means that all Green Party supporters from Toronto-Danforth will receive the Green Order of Danforth for their participation.
The Green Order of Danforth is, uh, well, a paperclip. Frequently clipped to a collar or a breast pocket. But it is a highly symbolic paperclip. It reflects commitment above and beyond the mediocre, and contributions above the barely adequate. It is given so rarely that it should take several weeks for you to collect enough to make a decent necklace. It is an interesting conversation piece.
