Danforth Greens Pub Night: sustainable architect Paul Dowsett
Join us for our first Danforth Greens Pub Night of the year featuring a presentation by Paul Dowsett, award-winning sustainable architect.
Toronto-Danforth’s Pub Nights are a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people and talk about the upcoming campaign and issues that are important to you. It is also a chance to meet your candidate and hear from dynamic and high profile speakers on topics covering politics, the environment and democracy.
Friday, 2015 Jun 12, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Stratengers, 1130 Queen St E, two blocks East of Pape
Paul is an award-winning architect specializing in innovative sustainable design. I have had the pleasure of hearing him speak on several occasions and have been captivated by his presentations. I am thrilled he will be our first speaker of the year.
Paul will be speaking about SUSTAINABLE.TO Architecture+Building’s approach to practical sustainability. S.TO works to make all buildings affordable, healthy, and energy-efficient. Two recent projects in the Toronto-Danforth riding will be explored to see how old, inefficient buildings can be retrofitted to become beacons of stylish sustainability.
