Ontario election day
Thursday, 2011 October 6, 9 am to 9 pm
If you are qualified to vote and your name is on the Voters List, Elections Ontario will mail you a Notice of Registration Card that lists your voting location on election day, plus the dates, times and locations for advanced voting.
Elections Ontario indicates there are two other methods for casting your vote:
In person in returning office
Thursday, September 8 to Wednesday, October 5, 2011. On October 5 you must vote by 6:00 PM ET or 5:00 PM CT.
Vote By Mail
Apply from Thursday, September 8 to Friday, September 30. On September 30, your application for Special Ballot must be received no later than 6:00 PM ET or 5:00 PM CT.
If you are unable to vote on election day or on any Advance Poll Days, you may use our Special Ballot option during the 28-day election period.
