Flyering for a new voting system

Fair Vote Canada is flyering both pro- and anti-coalition rallies to let people know that only proportional representation can solve this paliamentary crisis in the long run. “It’s the voting system, stupid!” Below is their message:

Our Message: It’s the Voting System, Stupid!

Many people are concerned about the current political crisis in Ottawa. They will be attending rallies this Sat., pro- and anti- the proposed coalition. This is a great time to let these folks know that this crisis is directly related to the First Past the Post voting system and that if we had proportional voting in Canada, this crisis would not be happening.

Please come out and help us get our message out this Sat. Meet June Macdonald and Linda Sheppard near the main doors of City Hall in Nathan Phillips Square any time after 11:30 am on Sat. morning. Pick up your flyers for either rally. If you can make a sign saying – It’s the Voting System, Stupid!, we might even get some press to notice!
