An invitation from the Sustainability Nework, which is sposoring this event:

Join Elizabeth May in Toronto for a discussion of her new book, Losing Confidence: Power, Politics and the Crisis in Canadian Democracy.  In the work, Elizabeth offers an insider’s view of the ills that beset our federal politics and the changes wrought over the past three decades that created this present state.  Elizabeth asks us to join the growing debate, outlines the problems facing us, and offers some solutions to our dilemmas. Average Canadians are the drivers of the country and she implores us to make change happen. As she states in the book, ”Politics is not a spectator sport.”

Elizabeth will be interviewed by Alternatives’ Executive Editor Nicola Ross. In addition to her work at Alternatives, Nicola is an award winning writer and author who teaches freelance writing at Humber College and the University of Toronto.
