Involving youth and their future
Recently, I have been spending a lot of time talking to people in the subway stations. I have come across a number of young people and especially high school students who are concerned about their future, especially in regards to the environment. On of these occasions a young man, even asked me if he could help with my campaign. In another instance a father and his daughter came by the campaign office to volunteer.
I am so excited that young people want to participate and take charge of their future.
No matter what the outcome of this election I plan on visiting high schools and speaking to students, because what is happening to the environment now is effecting their lives and will continue to. I hope I can inspire youth to speak up and to have an impact on their own future.
