2007 Mar 11: Rally for Kyoto

Canadians for Kyoto is a recently formed group which will be putting on rallies across Canada, calling on Canada to recommit to Kyoto.

They are well organized and committed, but would appreciate any help. Plan to go on March 11, and consider volunteering some of your time.

2007 Jan 21: Sledding and skating in Withrow Park

On Sunday, 2007 January 21, we’ll gather at Withrow Park at 1 pm to celebrate winter snow and ice while it’s still with us. Please bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbour children and any other small humans you can find. Sledding will be on if there is snow, skating will be available in any case.

At 2:30 pm, we’ll move on to the Riverdale Perk, where all children will get a free cup of hot chocolate.

2007 nomination meeting

Note: Date may change.

At our AGM we decided that we’d choose our Green Party of Canada candidate for the next federal election on or about Tuesday, 2007 February 6. Exact date, time and location are to be determined. Written notification to members will be sent at least 30 days before. Potential candidates seeking the nomination will need to file all their papers by two weeks before the nomination meeting.
