Happy Easter
Passover is over, we’ve found all the matzoh, and we’re about to go off to my aunt’s house to celebrate Ukrainian Easter. I hope to see everyone at Patricia’s Easter Egg Hunt.

It’s only the 3rd of January. Also it’s only the 9th day of Christmas, so I get to wish everyone a Merry Christmas too. Hope everyone made it happily and safely through the holidays. And I hope the new year is not quite so green as it has been.
Every year our family celebrates one night of Chanukah with whatever Jewish or sympathetic friends we can find. We especially appreciate Jewish friends because we don’t actually know what we’re doing. My family is not very observant Ukrainian Catholic, and Charlie’s is even less observant Jewish. So beyond the latkes, dreidels, gelt and the menorah at nightfall, we pretty much wing it. Read more »
I feel terrible for missing Eid and Divali, and now Hallowe’en is upon us. I’ve been so busy getting the AGM notices out to members by the deadline, but they are now finally gone. You should all be receiving them Thursday or Friday.
Have a fun and safe Hallowe’en. I’m going to get my witch costume on and go frighten some children, then appease them with candy.
