Home energy retrofit rebates

Going door to door, I was asked today about where to find out about rebates for energy audits and retrofits.

Here’s the information for the Ontario Home Energy Savings Program.

They pay for half of your home energy audit, and then up to a $5,000 rebate to match the $5,000 you can get from the federal government.

And here’s the information about the federal rebate, the ecoENERGY Retrofit Homes Program from the National Resources Canada Office of Energy Efficiency.

I’ve been trying to get my own home insulated, but I’ve been getting distracted campaigning. :-(
