Toronto-Danforth candidate card, 2010
I’ve knocked on (nearly) every door in the riding and I’m starting all over again with a new postcard in May.
Here’s the new design for 2010:

I entered politics five years ago when I became alarmed by the science of climate change and resource depletion. This is not an environmental issue. It’s an issue of human rights, of national security, of economic dependability and of a future for our kids. We will have troubling times ahead no matter which party is elected. All other parties approach these challenges with more of the same — an industrial treadmill that rapidly turns tomorrow’s resources into junk and wealth into debt. Speeding up the treadmill is hailed as progress and measured as GDP.
The Green Party vision looks beyond the carbon economy. We value economic stability, health, community, knowledge and personal time. I will continue to work closely with Toronto-Danforth neighbourhoods to help build a strong, resilient local economy that can sustain us through the changing times ahead. I will work cooperatively in Parliament to make Canada a proud international leader again.
The Green Party of Canada is founded on the six principles of ecological wisdom, social justice, participatory democracy, nonviolence, sustainability, and respect for diversity. Find out more at green.ca
It includes lots of links to online-only policy details to back up the brief items on the card itself.
