Al Gore’s latest scary slide show

I know that ardent environmentalists and climate change deniers alike accuse Al Gore of not living up to his own standards, but he does compile some very graphically compelling images of the problem we are facing.  Here is his latest.

Climate change being ignored: Gore

Next Generation, one of the many local groups I belong to (this is one of those I’ve helped to start) will be screening Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” at the Ralph Thornton Centre this Tuesday.  They’ve asked me to present the flick in top-hat and tails.

2007 Mar 13: Jim Harris’s convenient slideshow

At their next meeting, the Coalition for a Green Economy will feature Jim Harris, former leader of the Green Party of Canada, delivering the slideshow presentation that Al Gore developed and used in his now Oscar-winning movie.

Al Gore trains and certifies people to deliver this presentation, and you get the benefit of a personal touch.  For those of you who want to see the material again or can’t make the movie night on March 2, this is a great opportunity.
