Hi Charlie — I have spoken to Mary Ann and have outlined the meeting, as I know it, to her. What is written in the blog was the outline of what we had proposed for St. B. but since the meeting was turned over to the East End Network, and they have done a lot of work organizing their meeting, the format has changed. I do not think that David Walsh will be the moderator — they have used Wayne Walter in the past. The format is that there will be 2 minutes for the candidate to present their platform; there will be a question period following. The questions from the floor (1 minute limit) will be alternated with questions from the box of written questions from residents (submitted prior to the meeting). If the question is to a particular candidate, there will be 2 minutes for a reply; if the question is for all the candidates, there will be 1 minute for a reply. There will be a 2 minute period for each candidate at the end of the meeting to summarize their position. This is what has been proposed by the East End Network and I do not expect that it will change significantly. If you want to confirm this, please contact Susy Glass at Ralph Thornton at 416-392-6810 or susy@ralphthornton.org .
