Everything you always wanted to know about how to win an election*
*but were afraid to ask.
Mary Ann Grainger has organized a day of great workshops. Here’s the printable PDF invitation, which I have transcribed below…
You’re invited to join Elizabeth May and follow Green supporters for a unique seminar created to provide you with the tools you need to win seats in the next election.
Hosted by Toronto-Danforth Greens, this groundbreaking event has been broken down into three workshops — each one specifically designed to meet the needs of three distinct groups — Green Party supporters, candidates, and key campaign volunteers.
Workshops are open to anyone who wants to travel to Toronto to attend.
- Workshop A — 10 am – 1 pm — Candidate school 101.
- Workshop B — 10 am – 1 pm — How to run a successful campaign.
- Workshop C — 2 pm – 5 pm — Identify & get out the vote.
Elizabeth May will be our special guest at workshop C.
You can choose to attend either of the morning sessions plus the afternoon session — or just one of the morning sessions — or just the afternoon session. It’s your choice!
Date and location
Everything you always wanted to know
about how to win an election*

We were going to say free, but we are going to need to cover some out-of-pocket expenses — so the event will be “pay what you can” (and if that’s $0.00 that’s okay).

There will be a 1-hour lunch break between the morning and afternoon workshops. You can bring your own luch or there are many different types of resaurants nearby.
